Heritage walk organised

ITANAGAR, Jan 12: Sanskar Bharati Arunachal Pradesh (SBAP) on Sunday organised the inaugural leg of a ‘heritage walk-cum-tours to archeological places of state’ at Itafort here to commemorate the birth centenary of renowned archeologist and culturist Dr Vishnu Sridhar Wakankar, the first national general secretary of Sanskar Bharati.
Besides members of the SBAP, the programme saw the participation of social and political activist Doni Nich and SBAP president Tayi Taggu.
Addressing the participants, SBAP vice-president Sukhdev Biswas enumerated the contributions of Dr Wakankar to the nation. The SBAP team also remembered Swami Vivekananda and his contributions to the world on the occasion of National Youth Day.
Sanskar Bharat executive member Amit Kumar Mukherjee also spoke.
