ITANAGAR, Jan 20: The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is going to conduct selection trials in Wushu, boxing and weightlifting for induction of residential trainees at the SAI NCOE, Itanagar.
The trials, being conducted under the SAI’s ‘National Centre of Excellence’ scheme, will be held at the Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy, Chimpu, on 30 and 31 January.
The sports directorate informed in a release on Monday that the applicant must be at least 12 years of age as on 1 January, 2020.
Applicants must reach the SLSA by 8 am on 30 January, with all documents regarding age proof, educational qualifications, achievements, etc, along with Aadhaar card, in original, for registration, it said.
Candidates who succeed in the trials will be provided with free boarding and lodging as trainees of the SAI NCOE, Itanagar, the department said.
“The candidates shall come with their own sports kits for selection trials,” it added.
