Tuki inaugurates Tado Kholi Inter District Cricket Trophy

RONO HILLS, Jan 24: Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki on Friday inaugurated the Late Tado Kholi Inter District Cricket Trophy at Rajiv Gandhi University playground.
Besides a team from Itanagar, all the 9 affiliated district cricket associations are participating in the tournament. They are Tawang, East Kameng, Papum Pare, Lower Subansiri, Kra Daadi, Kurung Kumey, Upper Subansiri, Lower Siang and West Siang.
Tado Kholi was the founder secretary of ACA. He died in June, 2019. Kholi was a lawyer by profession, but he played a key role in promoting cricket in Arunachal Pradesh.
The family members, including Yama Kholi, wife of late TadoKholi, attended the opening ceremony.
Former CM Tuki, who was also the former ACA president, informed the gathering about the efforts made by him to get BCCI affiliation and development and promotion of cricket in Arunachal.
He advised all the participants to maintain discipline and sportsman spirit throughout the tournament.
The opening matches scheduled to be played between Papum Pare and Lower Subansiri at ground no 1 and Tawang and Lower Siang at ground no 2 were abandoned due to rain.

Upper Subansiri vs West Siang and Kurung Kumey vs Kra Daadi.
