RONO HILLS, Jan 27: Itanagar beat Tawang by three wickets in a league-level match of the Tado Kholi Inter-district Cricket Tournament played here in Papum Pare district on Monday.
After winning the toss and opting to field first, Itanagar restricted Tawang to a paltry 69 runs in 26.2 overs. They chased down the target in 19.2 overs, losing 7 wickets.
Rajesh Kumar of Itanagar was adjudged the man of the match for his 3/15 spell.
On Sunday, Itanagar had beaten Lower Siang by one wicket.
At Ground No 2, West Siang beat Lower Subansiri by three wickets. Opting to bat first, Lower Subansiri set West Siang a 193-run target to win, which the latter achieved in the 30th over, losing seven wickets.
West Siang’s Vipin Daka scored 80 runs off 34 balls (4×6, 6×8).
On Sunday, East Kameng defeated Papum Pare by 149 runs. Raja Lama of East Kameng took 6 wickets, conceding 16 runs.
