Strategy chalked out for smooth conduct of CBSE exams in E/ Kameng

SEPPA, Feb 5: In a bid to conduct the upcoming CBSE (AISSE and AISSCE) examinations fairly and smoothly in East Kameng district, a coordination meeting was convened under the chairmanship of ADC (HQ) Pravimal Abhishek Polumatla here on Wednesday.
Enquiring about the status of drinking water and electricity facilities at exam centres, Polumatla directed the PHE&WS and power departments and the DDSE to take necessary steps for ceaseless supply of drinking water and electricity during the examinations.
He further directed the DMO to deploy team of doctors along with health staffs to all examination centres to tackle any untoward medical emergency.
The ADC suggested that all concerned should report to the exam centres at least an hour before the commencement of examinations.
Regarding frisking exercise, he suggested the DDSE install separate enclosure for girl students for frisking and urged him to chalk out a plan to ensure conduct of examinations in fair manner.
Cautioning against any misconduct during examinations, the ADC said that strict action will be initiated against any official for dereliction of duty.
“If any individual or student is found indulging in improper activity he or she will be dealt with strictly under appropriate norms,” he cautioned.
DDSE Kata Rangmo also briefed the house about the SOP to be adopted during the examination. He further instructed the principals and headmasters not to grant any leave to the teachers till the proposed examinations are over and urged them to continue remedial teaching till the 19th of this month.
DMO Dr Lalchand Darung, CO Pooza Sonam Natung, AE (PHE&WS) Mayang Kino, ADI-cum-DIPRO in-charge Nondo Doka, representative of the police department, principals and headmasters of different schools and other government officials took active part in the discussion.
DCC meeting held -sub head
Meanwhile, the East Kameng District Consultative Committee (DCC) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Singh Rajawat at Seppa on Wednesday.
Various issues such as credit flow advance and deposit, CDR, financial literacy, financial inclusion, micro insurance schemes for social security, progress and achievement under banking sector were discussed extensively in the meeting.
The ADC, LDM JK Pator, officers of all concerned departments also took part in the discussion. (DIPRO)
