ITANAGAR, Mar 21: The Donyi Polo Yelam Kebang, Golgi Bote Gangging Itanagar on Saturday appealed to all religious organizations to “pray for the wellbeing of mankind,” in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
“The combined prayers of all the religious organizations will definitely work effectively in addition to steps taken by the government,” it said.
Stating that Sunday’s ‘janta curfew’ would hopefully be a step towards stopping the spread of the virus, it appealed to everyone to observe it.
