ITANAGAR, Mar 24: The Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ACCI) on Tuesday said it has issued directives to all the wholesalers and distributors in the state not to resort to hoarding or inflate prices under any circumstances.
It said it would initiate strict action, “in conjunction with the district administration concerned,” against those who indulge in such activities.
It also requested the state government to “strictly enforce the lockdown, so that the scenes witnessed in the twin capital (on Tuesday) are dissuaded.”
The availability of personal protective equipment in the markets, complaints regarding the inflation of rates of commodities, and the preparedness of the state in the face of Covid-19 were also discussed, the ACCI said in a release.
