AALO, Mar 28: Aalo East MLA Kento Jini has donated Rs 1,50,000 to East Siang DMO, Dr Moli Riba, for procuring clinical masks, sanitizers, gloves, etc, for doctors and medical staff, and Rs 1 lakh to the police, by way of boosting their morale in the fight against Covid-19.
Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak has donated Rs 2 lakhs for the PHCs in Kamba, Yomcha Liromoba and Darak, and gave assurance that he would bear the expenditure involved in treating coronavirus-related cases in Liromoba constituency.
With the lockdown almost total in the district, youth and civil society organizations are assisting the doctors, police and magistrates in screening, quarantining and ensuring implementation
of the lockdown, besides collecting firewood for the medical team posted at the Hissam check gate. (DIPRO)
