KHONSA, Apr 8: The nodal officer for Covid-19 in TCL districts, GS Meena, inspected the quarantine centres in Tirap district on Tuesday.
Accompanied by DC PN Thungon, ADC Kretkam Tikhak, SP Kardak Riba and DMO, Dr K Mossang, Meena inspected the tourist lodge in Hukanjuri and interacted with the quarantined persons there. He also inspected the isolation centre at the polytechnic institute in Kheti and the isolation centre at the general hospital here, besides the screening point at the Hukanjuri check gate.
The DC later briefed the nodal officer on the administration’s preparations against the pandemic.
The SP informed that all entry gates on state and international roads have been sealed to ensure that no outsiders enter the district during the lockdown period. (DIPRO)
