AALO, Apr 21: Altogether 1792 migrant labourers, out of the targeted 2872, in West Siang district have been provided with rations from the NDRF as of 19 April.
Twenty-two persons have so far been placed under quarantine. Nine samples have been collected so far, and no Covid-19 positive case has been detected.
Around 695 persons, including students, were home-quarantined, and 461 have completed the quarantine period.
The district unit of the Arunachal Pradesh Doctors Association, in collaboration with NGOs, is distributing masks and creating awareness on physical distancing, and the campaign is now reaching the villages.
The doctors at PHCs and CHCs have been provided with masks to be distributed to the rural people of the district. (DIPRO)
