Aboh lauds govt for providing compensation

KHONSA, Apr 26: Khonsa West MLA Chakat Aboh has lauded the state government for providing compensation to the next of kin of the 21 May, 2019 Tirap massacre, and of NPP worker Jaley Anna, who was killed on 29 March, 2019, near Kheti village by unknown assailants.
“Chief Minister Pema Khandu has been kind enough to have fulfilled his commitment to the next of kin of the 12 victimized families,” Aboh said.
On 21 May, 2019, 11 persons, including sitting MLA Tirong Aboh and his son, were killed in an ambush at Pansumthong village near Bogapani area in Tirap district when they were travelling to Khonsa from Dibrugarh (Assam).
