Keep work culture alive: DCM to officers

NAMSAI, Jun 16: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein advised the officers of all government departments of Namsai district to “keep the tradition of efficient work culture alive.”
Speaking during a meeting with the district’s administrative officers here on Tuesday, Mein said, “Every engineer, from the junior level to the top, must be aware and responsible for all projects under their jurisdiction.”
He said senior engineers should personally visit each work site regularly, in order to monitor the progress of work, ensure quality, and encourage the junior officers to discharge their duties sincerely.
“Today, transformation is visible in the district. I laud the efforts of the district administration which, along with the works departments ensured proper work being executed in the district,” the DCM said.
He reviewed the progress of works being executed by various government departments, and advised the departments to “work in synergy to ensure holistic development of Namsai district.”
Among other, Namsai MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Lekang MLA Jummum Ete Deori, and DC RK Sharma attended the meeting.
