CHANGLANG, Oct 27: In view of a sudden spike in Covid-19 positive cases among health professionals under the Changlang district hospital (DH), DMO Dr CL Manchay has ordered closure of the district hospital’s OPD for three days, with effect from Tuesday, to facilitate rapid antigen test of all the health workers, and also for sanitization of the hospital premises.
However, the emergency services will continue to function as usual.
In the meantime, anybody who may have visited the hospital or has had direct or indirect contact with Covid-19 positive health professionals during the last few days may self-isolate themselves and get tested at the Changlang welcome gate as soon as possible, the order read.
