Riders on mission to promote tourism leave for Anini

ROING, 31 Jan: Forty bikers who are part of the ‘Ride to promote the preservation of tradition and culture’ on Sunday, left Roing for Anini to participate in the upcoming Reh festival celebration at Dibang Valley district.

Earlier, Dirang MLA Phurpa Tsering had flagged off the ride which had participants from the Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC),

Royal Arunachal Riders (RAR) and Royal Siyang Riders (RSR) at the Kera Aa General ground here. The MLA advised the riders to take all safety measures while on the road.

Lower Dibang Valley deputy commissioner K.N Damo also wished the riders well for their journey and said that more such adventure expeditions should be encouraged. He further announced that a National Adventure Festival will be held in the district in coming years wherein motorcycling will be one of the major events.

Leader of the ride Nabam Rana of (ABC) said that their main intention is to explore Arunachal and to promote tourism in every corner of the state.

The ride is being funded by the Anini Central Reh Celebration Committee, and is being coordinated by Sherpa Mihu of (RAR).
