Alumni take stock of GHSS’ needs

AALO, 7 May: The 1991-94 batch alumni of the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here in West Siang district visited the school on Friday to take stock of the water supply needs of the school.

The president of the alumni association, Gego Doji and secretary Toba Ori, along with PHED AE Dorik Bagra, JE Tumba Ete, the school’s hostel warden and teachers assessed the water supply needs of the school.

The team found the water supply functional, but pointed out the need for overhead tanks for the boys’ and the girls’ hostels.

This school is one the oldest in Arunachal, and has produced many luminaries. But over the years, it has been facing problems as the infrastructures created many years back are now decaying.

Efforts are being made by the school’s alumni to mobilize resources to give back to their alma mater. (DIPRO)
