APCC distributes PPEs, ‘food kits’ among frontline workers

ITANAGAR, 13 May: The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee’s Covid-19 monitoring committee (APCC-CMC), led by its chairperson Gyamar Tana, on Thursday distributed PPEs to the frontline workers and ‘food kits’ among those manning the Banderdewa and Hollongi check posts, besides the colony police nakas in the capital.

The committee applauded the District Congress Committee (DCC)-CMC “for ensuring welfare activities to the needy.”

The party said it is also helping people at the district level. The Lower Dibang Valley DCC distributed a large amount of organic green vegetables to the people in need.

The APCC-CMC urged the state government to use the CM Cares Fund to procure PPEs and other equipments for the frontline workers, the differently-abled, widows, quarantine centres and hospitals.
