ITANAGAR, 15 Jul: The All Shi-Yomi District Students’ Union in a letter to the BSNL’s West Siang district subdivision officer (telecom) on Wednesday appealed to him to take urgent steps to ensure proper telecom network, and to upgrade the internet connectivity to 4G in the district.
“Students of the district are facing much difficulty as they are unable to access the internet. The absence of internet connectivity has caused immense problem in their studies as all of their courses are now linked to the internet,” the union said, and threatened to launch democratic action if its demands are not met at the earliest.
