ITANAGAR, 11 Jan: The State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) on Tuesday signed an MoU with the Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM) for providing e-learning facilities to the schoolchildren of the state, using NCERT curriculum-based audiovisual modules in the English medium.
The MoU has been signed to engage in collaborative initiatives such as establishing e-learning facilities in the schools, providing multimedia teaching tools to the teachers, and conducting impact assessment of the e-learning facilities.
A joint committee, consisting of officials of the RILM and the SCERT, will be formed to monitor the project.
The MoU was virtually signed by Mission Shiksha Director Sachin Rana on behalf of the SCERT, and by RILM chairman Kamal Sanghvi. (DIPR)
