ITANAGAR, 25 Feb: Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched a self-charging hybrid electric vehicle this February.
On 22 February, one of the chargeable cars was brought to Lekhi here for a test drive. The officials at the Camdir Toyota dealer informed that bookings are ready and the waiting period after the booking is around 6-7 months. “Booking can be done on 50 percent advance,” they said.
A Toyota official from Lekhi informed that the Toyota Vellfire, which was launched in 2020, has 2,500 CC engine, a self-charging mode without any external input, 16.75 mileage and access to all safety features with seven airbags.
A press release from Toyota also stated that the Vellfire hybrid model delivers a powerful driving experience while ensuring low fuel consumption and carbon footprints, prioritizing safety measures.
