KHONSA, 26 Mar: Tirap district’s Joint Director of Industries, Pongrem Arangham informed that 100 youths, including females, registered for skill development training in different trades during the annual ‘Skill mela-cum-sensitisation rally’ held at the district industries centre (DIC) here on Friday.
Attending the programme, Kapu ZPM Wiram Matey urged the trainee aspirants to learn from the training to become “perfect professional workers in their chosen fields.”
Representatives from the skill development ministry, Sankalp Bhatia and PC Tiwari, enlightened the participants about the benefits of skill development and entrepreneurship training and “the importance of a training institute for free-of-cost skill development.”
The programme was organised by the union skill development & entrepreneurship development department, in collaboration with the Tirap DIC.
Besides the trainee aspirants, Khonsa ZPM Wanghong Panka and government officials attended the programme. (DIPRO)
