Miscreants vandalise parked cars in Seppa

SEPPA, 3 Apr: At least 13 parked cars were reportedly vandalised by unknown miscreant in East Kameng HQ Seppa on Saturday midnight.

Sources informed that the smashing spree occurred at Type-II and Shantipur Colonies.

The miscreants reportedly went on a rampage, targeting the parked cars in the colonies, and smashed their window panes, windshields, rear view mirrors, etc.

Among the damaged cars are a Mahindra Scorpio, a Tata Nexon, a Renault Duster, and a Nissan.

The intention behind the vandalism is yet to be known, the sources added.

The owners of the cars have filed FIRs at the Seppa police station, seeking action.

Jolted by the incident, the East Kameng SP has initiated night patrolling from Sunday onwards, from 10 pm to 4 am.
