KOLORIANG, 12 Apr: Incessant rain triggered landslides in different locations in Kurung Kumey district, snapping surface communication and posing a threat to vulnerable buildings.
Several culverts collapsed due to the torrential rain, while roads were washed away by landslides.
Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner Nighee Bengia urged the people living in high-risk areas to shift to safer places.
The district administration has issued a traffic advisory to avoid travelling, in view of the inclement weather. (DIPRO)
