Tagin short film ‘Borme’ wins awards in int’l film fests

ITANAGAR, 9 May: Tagin short film Borme, directed by Tapen Natam, has won several international awards and has also been nominated for many upcoming national and international film festivals.

The film won awards at the Tagore International Film Festival, the World Film Carnival Singapore, the Indian International Short Film Festival, the Gangtok International Film Festival and the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, Natam said.

His film NEFA 1953 had won seven awards at the Arunachal Film Festival in 2019 and Natam became the first filmmaker from Arunachal to win the best director’s award.

Other films directed by Natam are J2 and Borderland 1962.
