ITANAGAR, 15 May: Twenty-five pugilists, who are going to participate in the upcoming Sub-junior National Boxing Championship, scheduled to be held in Bangalore from 20-27 May, underwent a coaching camp organised by the Arunachal Amateur Boxing Association at RGU in Rono Hills.
“This is the first time that the Arunachal Amateur Boxing Association is sending a full team for the national championship in both boys’ and girls’ categories,” the association informed in a release.
On concluding day RGU Registrar Dr. N.T Rikam motivated the boxers and advised them to be disciplined and determined to achieve their goals. President AABA Dr. Tadang Minu expressed the hope that players will come back with medals as they have been training hard with coaches and supporting staff.
