Itanagar MLA’s son found dead

BORUM, May 18: In a tragic incident Techi Takar, son of Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso was found dead near the railway track here under Papum Pare district on Wednesday morning.

As per Papum Pare police, a local from Tigdo area informed the Doimukh police that a body has been found on the railway track in Tigdo area nearby railway bridge. Accordingly, the Doimukh police reached the spot and found that a youth aged around 34 years was found dead on the railway track and was unidentified. Later the youth was identified as Techi Takar, son of Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso.

After registering a case of unnatural death by the Doimukh police, formalities like inquest and post mortem was conducted. Later the body was handed over to the family members for conducting last rite.  The Doimukh police have registered a case no. 06/22 u/s-174 CrPc.

As per sources late Techi Takar has been hit by the running train.

The United Leil Tara Youth Foundation in a condolence message has said that “the ULTYF is deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the untimely demise of Techi Takar. In grief and sorrow, the foundation wishes the bereaved family peace and courage to bear the irreparable loss. We stand in solidarity with the family and extend our heart-felt condolence while praying to almighty to let the departed soul rest in eternal peace.”

Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industry president Tarh Nachung, Itanagar Municipal Corporation deputy mayor Biri Basang, Janata Dal (united) state president Ruhi Tagung and hundreds of relatives, well-wishers, social workers and general public visited the family and paid their last respect to the departed soul.
