BOLENG, 13 Jun: The Siang district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Monday took out a motorcycle rally from here to Pangin in Siang district to celebrate the eight years of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.?
Altogether 180 youths on around 150 bikes took part in the rally, which was flagged off by Siang ZPC Oshi Mibang.
The objective was to highlight the various welfare schemes and achievements of the Modi government, and its zero tolerance policy against corruption.
Later, the bikers joined a ‘jan sammelan garib kalyan’ rally, organised by the Siang district unit of the BJP.
Local MLAs Ojing Tasing and Talem Taboh were present and addressed the rally. They briefed the participants about the achievements made by the Modi government and the Chief Minister Pema Khandu-led BJP government in the state. The MLAs also highlighted the achievements made in their constituencies during their tenure.
State BJYM general secretary Dolang Tako, ZPC Oshi Mibang, ZPMs, other PRI leaders, and BJP party workers participated in the ‘jan sammelan garib kalyan’ rally.
Similar rallies were also organised by the BJYM district units of West Kameng, East Saing, Lower Dibang Valley, Pakke-Kessang, Longding, Lohit, and Changlang.
