Review meeting on RI, Covid held

AALO, 14 Jun: A review meeting on routine immunisation (RI), Covid-19 and family planning activities under the National Health Mission (NHM) was held at the DC’s conference hall here in West Siang district on Tuesday.

The meeting, chaired by DC Penga Tato, was attended by the chairpersons of the Rogi Kalyan Samitis of all the health centres of the district, besides the medical superintendent, MOs, the DMO, the DIO, the WCD deputy director, and others.

The MOs of all the health centres presented their “RI and community process performance for the months of April and May, 2022.”

District Immunisation Officer Dr Tomar Kamki informed the house about “the declining graph of RI performance in the district,” and appealed to all the block-level staffers to remain at their places of posting to check the declining trend of the RI performance.

NHM District Programme Officer Yomto Lollen urged all the MOs to “track all the left-out and dropout children to achieve full immunisation target of the?district as per RI micro-plan.”

ADC Hento Karga appealed to the MOs to perform their duties “as per the prescribed government rule to accomplish goal of all the national health programmes.”

ADC Rujjum Raksap called for carrying out IEC activities at the grassroots level.

DMO Dr Dubom Bagra directed all the MOs to “conduct block-level review meetings on quarterly basis to review their performance as per RI micro-plan with the administrative officers and RKS chairpersons,” and asked the MOs to “make robust RI micro-plan, as per timeline given by the state.”

The DC directed all the health facilities to “collect accurate data while conducting RI micro-plan household survey,” and to verify?the data accordingly. (DIPRO)
