ITANAGAR, 18 Jun: Golom Tinku (61 kg) and Kampu Degio (67 kg) have been selected by the Indian Weightlifting Federation to represent India in the Asian Weightlifting Championship, to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 15-25 July.
Tinku had won a bronze medal in the last Youth National Weightlifting Championship held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, while Degio represented India in the recently concluded IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championship in Leon, Mexico, Arunachal Weightlifting Association vice president Daniel Teli informed in a release.
