KHACH, 14 Sep: Saktam Ajin (B) won the trophy in the men’s category, while Tar Torum Sister won in the women’s category in the 2nd edition of the 3A side district level volleyball tournaments organised by the Khach Future Generation at the general ground here in Lower Subansiri district.
Twenty-two teams had participated in the tournament which concluded on Tuesday.
Raha Tapi of Ralo Raho team was adjudged the best player in the men’s category, and Takam Riniu was adjudged the best player in the women’s category.
Team 7+7 Brothers and Sister received the ‘discipline team’ in the women’s category, and Likha Sporting Club was declared the ‘discipline team’ in the men’s category.
Among others, the final matches were witnessed by Khadi & Village Industries OSD Likha Tacho and Apatani Students’ Union GS Koj Nichi.
