ITANAGAR, 21 Dec: The office of the assistant electoral registration officer (AERO) here conducted ‘e-quiz and extempore speech’ competitions under the systematic voters education and electoral participation (SVEEP) programme at the Govt Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Arunodaya here on Thursday.
Informing that “the students actively participated in the event,” Itanagar EAC and AERO Khoda Lasa said that “these students, when they grow up, will definitely make a difference not just as voters but as opinion makers in the society.”
The competitions were held for the students of Class 9 to 12. In the e-quiz competition, Habu Yanga (Class 12, humanities), Rupam Nath (Class 9) and Barnali Barman (Class 10) were the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winner, respectively.
In the extempore speech competition, Lungbe Bagang (Class 12, science), Lindum Takum (Class 12, humanities) and Chumpi Boje (Cass 9) were the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winner, respectively.
GHSS Vice Principal Biba Whui and other teachers and staffers of the school were present at the event. (DIPRO)
