Editor,
Through the columns of your daily, we would like to seek clarity from the APPSC regarding the recruitment rules for the upcoming PGT examination.
The recent statement made by Chief Minister Pema Khandu on his official Facebook page, indicating the implementation of revised recruitment rules for TGT/PGT as per NCTE guidelines, has left thousands of PGT candidates in confusion. This announcement comes at a crucial time, just before the tentatively scheduled PGT exam in June.
Many of us have already been preparing diligently under the assumption that the old recruitment rule would remain in effect. We sincerely request the APPSC to kindly issue an official statement at the earliest, clarifying whether the upcoming PGT recruitment will proceed with the new recruitment rules or they will continue with the existing rules.
The absence of a clear communication from the commission is causing extreme confusion and anxiety, especially for those of us who may become ineligible or need to change our preparation strategy drastically if the rules are changed.
We have already suffered immensely due to the past APPSC paper leak scam and repeated delays in recruitment, such as when the TGT exam was abruptly postponed last year. Many among us are on the verge of mental, physical, and financial breakdown. We have invested years of effort and resources, and decisions made at the eleventh hour only deepen our struggles.
We earnestly plead with the commission to not delay this crucial update until the release of the PGT advertisement. Timely communication will help us prepare with clarity and peace of mind.
