KIYIT, 20 Mar: The East Siang district administration organised a Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp a the government secondary school here on Friday.
Services provided by various government departments and agencies included farmer registration drives conducted by the agriculture, horticulture and allied departments, awareness programme on free legal aid conducted by the district legal service authority, awareness programme on various government schemes, opening of bank accounts, and KYC updation. People from Kiyit, Ngopok, Borguli, and Seram under the Monggu Banggo ZPM segment benefitted from the camp.
Earlier, Mebo MLA Oken Tayeng inaugurated the SAD camp and inspected the stalls set up by various participating departments, He also took stock of the services being provided to the rural denizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Tayeng highlighted the positive impact of SAD camps. He stressed the importance of creating greater awareness about various government schemes, services, and banking facilities through such camps in rural areas.
The MLA was accompanied by ZPMs Bapiyang Tayeng and Neena Megu, Mebo ADC Nancy Yirang, CO Toimi Tagi, Planning Department SRA Benjamin Tabing, panchayat members, gaon buras and the village secretary. (DIPRO)
