ITANAGAR, 20 Apr: A consultative conference of the Civil 20 (C20) will be held at the banquet hall here on 22 April, retired chief information commissioner Dr Joram Begi informed during a press briefing at the press club here on Thursday.
The conference will be attended by members of civil society bodies of the state, he said, adding that “this year, in June, an international conference will be held in Namsai.”
Begi further informed that, “out of 14 themes, two have been given to the Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture.” Begi is the chairman of the Guwahati (Assam) chapter of the institute, while former election commissioner Hage Kojeen is the chairman of its Arunachal Pradesh chapter.
The themes of the consultative conference will be based on diversity, inclusion and mutual respect, Begi said.
