NEW DELHI, May 4: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju has assured the central government’s support to Arunachal Pradesh in setting up bamboo industry in all the districts of the state.
He gave the assurance to Arunachal Pradesh Bamboo Resources and Development Agency (APBRDA) Chairman, Yora Tagung during a meeting at his official bungalow here on Thursday last.
Rijiju also called upon the APBRDA to encourage bamboo plantation at non-forest areas and assured all possible support from the centre in this regard.
