NAMSAI, Dec 26: Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) will lock horns with Namsai in the final of the 17th Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament, here on 28 December.
On Wednesday, the APP thrashed East Kameng 3-0 to reach the final.
Captain Toko Poliam (27th min) and Gobenso Drai (64th’min) scored a goal each for the winning team. East Kameng’s Ansand Cheda scored an own goal in the 52nd minutes.
With this win, APP remained unbeaten in the tournament so far.
Namsai beat Lower Subansiri 4-1 (6-3) via penalty shootout.
The match went to tie-breaker after both the teams were tied 2-2 at regulation time.
