YUPIA, Dec 7: Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye on Thursday directed line departments like the Education and ICDS, to coordinate during the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign, during the first DFTI Committee Meeting of the District Health Society.
DMO Dr T Kampu requested all DFTI members to monitor the campaign to ensure its effective implementation in the district, while WHO SMO Dr T Taka gave a presentation on the campaign, and discussed the roles of the Education and the ICDS departments in the campaign.
Earlier, DRCHO Dr J Ado highlighted the objectives of the campaign, and urged the DFTI members to gear up for a robust micro plan for the campaign, which will cover children (9 months to 15 years old) of all government and private schools.
All medical officers in charge of the district, and representatives from departments of Education and ICDS, Yupia attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
