ZIRO, Apr 24: A blood donation camp was organized at Gyati Takka General Hospital here by the All Lower Subansiri Gorkha Welfare Association (ALSGWA) on 17 April.
Restating the association’s initiative, ‘Save a life, give blood’, ALSGWA president Sanjeev Pradhan urged the youths to donate blood frequently to address the short supply of blood in the hospital’s blood bank.
Blood donor and Lower Subansiri DDSE, Hibu Tama applauded the ALSGWA and Blood Bank Officer Joram Khopey for conducting the camp and urged the association to organize similar camps in the future.
