KITPI, Jun 6: About 20 farmers participated in a training programme on oyster mushroom cultivation, organized here by the Tawang KVK recently.
The KVK’s plant protection scientist L Borah showed the farmers the different steps of mushroom cultivation, while KVK farm manager Sonam T Khumu spoke on precautions to be adopted during the course of mushroom production.
Mushroom spawns, polythene bags and other items were also distributed among the farmers.
