AALO, Sep 11: Training on linking members of self help groups (SHGs) with the Ayushman Bharat and Poshan schemes was held here at the Aalo Club in West Siang district on 10 September.
The training was organised by the Urban Development and Housing (UD&H) Department in coordination with line departments of the National Health Mission and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) Scheme.
During the training, the UD&H department dwelt on the importance of various trades under the NULM and the need to link their names and account under the scheme to reap benefits from the self sustenance programme introduced by the Government of India.
Officers of line departments, ICDS DD in-charge Bahe Koyu DDICDS and DPM Yomto Lollen also spoke in detail on the Poshan scheme and health welfare measures under the National Health Mission. (DIPRO)
