Biometric attendance made operational at RGU

RONO HILLS, Nov 5: The biometric attendance system in Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) here has been made operational from Tuesday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha inaugurated it and led the fingerprint data-capturing session of the employees on Tuesday morning at the university’s registrar’s office.
“It is a welcome step towards digitalization and is an effort towards enhancing the work culture in the university,” Prof Kushwaha said.
The session was joined by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Amitava Mitra, Registrar (in-charge) Prof Tomo Riba, librarian Dr M Maltesh, Joint Registrar (Academic) Dr David Pertin, Joint Director (Computer Centre) Tsering Megeji, other senior administrative officers, and all the employees on roll.
