Meeting on immunization held

PASIGHAT, Nov 29: The East Siang district task force on immunization (DTFI) held a review meeting here on 29 November to discuss matters related to routine immunization.
Chairing the meeting, DMO Dr Kaling Dai asked the medical officers and representatives of PHCs, CHCs and the general hospital here to “achieve the annual target of 100 percent infant and pregnant mother’s immunization coverage in the district.”
The DMO stressed on “timely submission of reports on the AEFI, following micro-plan in the immunization process, and supervisory visits for effective routine vaccination.”
He also instructed all to ensure that their data tally with the record register and the HIMS portal. “ANMs, H/A, HWO, BDM and DDM should minutely cross-check before uploading,” he added.
DRCHO Dr T Gao made a PowerPoint presentation on the strategies, plans and achievements of the DTFI, while NHM monitoring officers, Drs Anitha Kumari and A Sreeranjini, presented briefs on their findings and offered suggestions.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Joint District Health Society Director (T&R) D Raina, MS Dr YR Darang, ICDS DD PE Angu, medical officers, and ANMs. (DIPRO)
