KHONSA, Dec 19: Issuing of driving licences in Tirap district has gone online with the launching of the Sarathi 4.0 project by ADC Jalash Pertin here on Thursday.
Accompanied by District Transport Officer Aman K Wangsaham and District Informatics Officer Rakesh Das, the ADC distributed one driving licence and two learners’ licences to applicants to mark the launch.
“Sarathi is a flagship e-governance project of the union transport & highways ministry. Its mission is to automate the process of issuing learner’s licence, driving licence, conductor licence, driving school licence, NOC, etc,” Wangsaham informed. (DIPRO)
