YUPIA, Mar 9: Director of Health Services (DHS), Dr Moromor Lego, inaugurated the district medical officer’s (DMO) conference hall here in Papum Pare district on Monday.
The DHS urged the department’s programme officers and staff to properly maintain the hall, and to be punctual and disciplined, besides cooperating with one another in discharging their duties.
DMO Dr Subu Tasso Kampu explained how she and her team, with support from other officers, turned a dilapidated garage into a 50-seat conference hall.
Dr Kampu submitted a memorandum to the DHS, seeking HR rationalization, construction of a new DMO building, and early completion of the district warehouse and the residential quarters for the DMO, the programme officers and the staff here.
Among others, AYUSH Deputy Director, Dr Inya Lingu, DRCHO Dr Worar Taku, DVBDCPO Dr Tana Aruna Likha, and DANO Dr Tania Raju were present at the inauguration.
The DHS later visited the site of the ongoing construction of the district warehouse. (DIPRO)
