Hundreds benefit from health camp

OMPULI, Mar 14: As many as 225 people benefitted from a ‘multi-specialty health camp’ organized here by the Papum Pare District Health Society (DHS) on Friday.
Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, who inaugurated the camp, thanked the DHS for conducting the health camp in Ompuli, his native village, and urged the villagers to avail the services.
DMO Dr Subu Tasso Kampu spoke on Covid-19, emphasizing on preventive measures like hand-washing and ensuring personal hygiene. She also spoke on central and state government schemes like Dulari Kanya, the CM’s Arogya Arunachal Yojana, full incentivization, family planning, etc.
Medicine specialist Dr K Mossang, eye specialist Dr Ponung Perme, dental surgeon Dr Binta Haider, and Dr M Engling from the RBSK conducted the camp. Sagalee CHC MO, Dr T Nyodu, and Toru HWC MO, Dr Tai Machung, were also present.
IEC materials on preventing various diseases were displayed during the camp, and hand wash, toothbrushes, soaps, etc, were distributed free of cost. (DIPRO)
