ITANAGAR, Mar 25: The Itanagar-Capital region administration has directed all Petroleum, oil, lubricant depots under the Itanagar-Capital region not to issue any POL items to any private vehicles, except emergency services and government servants who are on emergency duty with plying permit issued by the DC’s office with immediate effect.
As per the order issued by Capital Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom, this was necessitated after observing that private individuals, along with their vehicles are lining up at POL depots for refilling their vehicle in violation of the appeal and guidelines passed by the government in public interest
for social distancing and personal confinement at home as per condition of the nationwide lockdown.
“Private vehicles can be issued fuel only on special permit, otherwise public should confine themselves inside their homes,” the DC said.
