Governor donates to CMRF

ITANAGAR, Mar 29: Joining the state government’s efforts in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, Governor BD Mishra has donated a month’s salary to the chief minister’s relief fund (CMRF).
The governor on Sunday again appealed to the people to stay at home and cooperate with the civil administration in the lockdown. He advised maintaining a metre’s physical distance from one another, and to approach the nearest hospital in case of emergency.
Meanwhile, Eastern Army Commander, Lt Gen Anil Chauhan, on Sunday informed the governor that the army would provide all assistance to the people of the state in the fight against the coronavirus. (Raj Bhavan)
