AALO, May 6: West Siang DC Swetika Sachan said restriction on transportation of poultry, fishes and green vegetables from Assam to West Siang district will continue till 17 May.
Barbers/ salons too will remain closed till the end of the third phase of the lockdown.
The decision was taken by the DC after a consultative meeting with the senior citizens here on Wednesday.
The people taking inter-state route through Assam will not go for further quarantine as they have already completed quarantine and escorted through Assam by police maintaining all safety measures, the DC informed.
The students and people returning from outside the state or affected zones will be screened at the Ruksin check gate.
During the screening, people found to be symptomatic would be tested and quarantined.
