PASIGHAT, Nov 26: In view of the upcoming panchayat and municipal elections, East Siang DC Dr Kinny Singh has imposed a restriction on all licenced arms and directed all the license holders to deposit their licenced arms within seven days to the nearest police stations.
Institutional arm licence holders like banks, financial institutions and persons engaged with security agencies may apply for exemption, with reasons, at the police stations concerned. (DIPRO)
