The villagers of Jerigaon and Duithing in Nafra subdivision of West Kameng district, led by Sartang Elite Society general secretary Lobsang Tenzing Rockpudu and the BJP’s Minority Morcha’s district unit president PK Nathongjee, destroyed wildly growing cannabis plants in the jungles near the villages on 12 and 14 September.
