Sixty-three units of blood were collected at the camp in the RK Mission Hospital here, besides 38 units at the TRIHMS in Naharlagun, 43 units in Pasighat, 37 units in Aalo, four units in Daporijo, six units in Ziro, 27 units in Tezu, and 25 units in Roing.

A total of 385 donors had registered for the blood donation camps across the state but not all could donate due to technical reasons.

The programme was organised under the supervision of TRIHMS ENT specialist Dr Jego Ori and GWS vice president (training & skill development) Dr Rime Ngulom Potom.

The GWS expressed gratitude to the donors, and expressed appreciation for the GWS’ district units, the Tagin Cultural Society, other CBOs and NGOs, and Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donors’ Organisation chairman Ramesh Jeke.
